Helmet Safety & Use Guide
CERTIFICATION & INTENDED USE
Revi helmets are manufactured and tested in compliance with recognized international safety standards, including ASTM F2040 (North America) and EN 1077:2020 Class B (Europe), where applicable.
Certification details for each helmet are printed on the label inside the helmet.
Revi helmets are intended only for downhill skiing and snowboarding.
They are not designed, tested, or approved for use in other activities or sports unless explicitly stated on the product.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent risks.
Revi helmets are designed to help reduce the risk of certain head injuries by absorbing impact energy through partial destruction of the shell and/or liner.
No helmet can prevent all injuries. Some impacts may exceed the helmet’s ability to protect and may result in serious or fatal injuries.
FIT & ADJUSTMENT
A helmet can only provide protection if it fits correctly.
Your helmet must:
- Sit firmly and level on your head
- Cover the forehead without tilting forward or backward
- Have straps positioned so they do not cover the ears
- Have the buckle positioned away from the jawbone
For proper adjustment:
- Tighten the chin strap and adjust the rear fit system until the helmet feels secure and comfortable
- Try different sizes and select the size that feels stable with no pressure points or loose movement
A helmet can only protect effectively if it fits correctly.
HELMET REPLACEMENT
Any impact may damage the helmet, even if no damage is visible.
For your safety:
- Replace the helmet after any impact or accident
- Do not reuse a helmet that has sustained an impact
Helmet materials degrade over time due to aging and long-term UV exposure.
It is recommended to replace your helmet after 5 years of use, even if it appears undamaged.
LIMITATIONS OF PROTECTION
This helmet protects only the areas of the head it covers.
It does not protect the neck, face, or other parts of the body.
MODIFICATIONS & CHEMICAL EXPOSURE
- Do not modify or alter the helmet
- Do not remove or tamper with labels or certifications
Avoid contact with: solvents, paints, cleaning fluids, hydrocarbons or adhesives
These substances may damage the helmet and reduce protective performance, even if no damage is visible.
WARRANTY
Revi helmets are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by impacts, accidents, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear.
Any helmet that has sustained an impact is not covered under warranty and must not be reused.
